Security Tax have been cancelled

On the 18.July.2025 come into force the Act on amendments to the Simplified Taxation of Business Income Act, to the Income Tax Act, and repeal of the Security Tax Act.

With this Act was cancelled so called security tax we wrote about before.

Meaning that nothing will change for Estonian companies in respect of submitting annual reports and tax declarations.

Rumours have it that the security tax has been cancelled since Estonian Government has enough money for the first time in history.
